Residential Workshops
We run a number of creative workshops involving the use of improvisational techniques and the framework of the Hero's journey
Can we come as a couple ?
Couples have come to the transition point and benefited from seeing their partners in a new light ,however tensions do arise at times of change so that would need to be managed within the partnership and not spill over to the detriment of others. This will be discussed prior to arriving.
What if I am not physically fit?
At times we will wander out to experience the area and any physical activities will take in consideration individual's fitness. You are of course free to join in at whatever level you feel capable of.
Will I have to participate in group activities?
The workshop activities involve a large degree of group-work designed so that both the extroverted and the more timid among us can join in with out being too nervous. Our experience to date is that even for the more reserved the level of fun involved has made it possible for participation.
What is the dress code?
The answer is however you would dress at home. Bear in mind that summer temperatures can be in the high twenties or thirties .
What can I expect in terms of meal times ?
Serving each other and helping out (where possible) is very much part of the ethos of who we are, andto benefit fully we invite people to participate in communal activities.
What costs are involved?
There is a cost to the air fare and travel from the airport which you will be responsible for.The Art of Transition is run on a not-for-profit ethos, however in order to remain sustainable we do require an nominal amount to cover expenses .Our guests are invited to contribute something towards enabling those who are not as financially able to access our services. This is discretionary.
